Lakeside elopement styled shoot

// Sarah & Alex //

It’s been a while that I wanted to plan a elopement styled shoot in the wild. Well, after four months designing it, finding the right location and convincing a bunch of talented professionnals to join the adventure, I’m proud to present you “A Lakeside Escape”! We were so lucky that my friend Quentin Gendrot, an accomplished musician enjoyed the idea and gave the set an atmosphere that perfectly emphasizes the beautiful landscape and our lovers emotions! Styled shoot does not mean we have to fake love so that’s why I wanted a real couple to work with us. They were often sending me emails saying they would love to get married again, so you can imagine how happy they were when I gave them the opportunity to live this special day a second time!

During the ceremony, they were reading words they had written earlier in the caravan to tell how much they love each other. When Quentin started to play his wonderful cello composition, we could all feel the air filled with an intense energy which led them to cry of joy and gave the whole team the shivers!

Despite the cold the entire team was pretty happy to create something unique and meaningfull and I would like to thank all of them for allowing a simple dream to become a reality!

If you enjoy it as much as we do, please feel free to share it accross social medias and if you too would like to get married or have your couple session or elopement in he wild just let me know and we’ll make it happen!

A warm thanks to those who’ve made it possible!

Seaside wedding at les cabanes Bartherotte

After meeting Marie-Sarah & Josselin for their engagement session a few months earlier, I knew their wedding would be amazing. Both architects, they have a wonderful taste when it comes to sytle! Being also sea lovers, they wanted this unique day to take place near the Atlantic Ocean, so what a better venue than les cabanes Bartherotte? This beautifully designed wooden lodge was built at the extreme end of le Cap Ferret, a Nature’s gift located on the Bassin d’Arcachon, not far from the well known city of Bordeaux. From there and with a single glance you can see the powerful Atlantic ocean crushing the beaches on the west side, the peaceful Bassin waters on the east side and the beautiful Dune du Pyla culminating at 110m above sea level making it the highest natural sand dune in Europe!

I was impressed with Marie-Sarah and Josselin’s talent when they told me they had designed the wedding invitations and some of the decorations themselves! Wearing a glamorous Rime Arodaky dress Marie-Sarah really was the queen of the day! This wedding truly was one of the most beautiful I ever attended. Sharing these moments with such a friendly and styled couple in such an environement will definitely last for long in my memory!

Barcelona rural wedding

// Elodie & Quentin //

I’m always keen to travel abroad to explore new locations, particularly when it comes to cover a wedding in a remote area. Despite the fact that we only knew each other from Skype, I immediately felt at ease with Elodie & Quentin and their relatives! Always prompt to joke and laugh no doubt this day would be awesome! El Mariner de Sant Pau is located at the foot of the Pyrénées mountains, about an hour drive north from Barcelona. A lovely ceremony hosted by Marine was set in the gardens of the venue and we were lucky as the sun was shining and warming everybody’s heart. During the cocktail I took advantage of the setting sun to grab Elodie & Quentin for a short couple session in the forest above the site and we made some funny shots with Quentin posing with the bride’s bouquet! Then the diner, speeches and party were thrown and after the first dance that was time for me to head back to my hotel and have some deserved rest 🙂

Laid back forest couple session

// Stéphanie & Thomas //

Shooting in nature is always a new experience to me, light is always different and there is a special feeling rising when you sit down for a couple minutes in the forest. There are many sounds from birds singing to branches cracking, the wind blowing gently in the pine’s needles, which instantly relaxes you from the overwhelming modern life we are carrying on these days.  Well, that’s perfect to wander around with a fun loving couple such as Steph & Tom! They were a bit stressed at the beginning of the session, giving the fact that we were two people shooting them, Clémentine carrying the video part, and myself clicking around! They quickly felt at ease when we directed them to funny interactions, leaving the more intimate shots for later. We had barrels of laughs together and found some great spots to shoot in! At dusk, we got some led sets out for some interesting night images with an intimate mood. All in all this session was a nice experience and I hope you’ll enjoy the photos!

Beach engagement session

// Alex & Emeric //

You know how much I love travelling, so when I meet a couple who’s fond of exploring the world I’m excited to hear about their trips, but when on top of that they love extreme sports to me it’s like the cherry on the cake! Well, Emeric is skydiving when he’s not balancing on a highline hundreds of meters over the ground, rock climbing or hiking the Pyrénées mountains in south west of France… On the other side he’s so peaceful that standing next to him makes you feel relaxed instantly. Alex on the other hand can’t stop cracking all the time giving me these genuine big simles and laughters I love so much! With  such a great couple and an amazing secret spot near the city of Biarritz, not far away from where they shot the Dragonstone decor if you know what I mean 🙂 I knew we would get some quality time and images together.

Sunset engagement session

// Marie-Sarah & Josselin //

Architects and art lovers, Marie-Sarah & Josselin naturally live in Paris but they chose the beautiful Bassin d’Arcachon for both their engagement session and wedding, which I can’t wait to shoot in the amazing venue “La cabane Bartherotte“. Prior to the session I told them that I love accessories, and they surprised me with a stunning Louis XV armchair to create unique images on the beach!

Basque coast couple session

// Blandine & Alex //

When I met these folks for the first time I knew pretty much straight away that we would get along really well. Humble and funny people like I love! They met a few years back in the south west area of France and their love soon gave birth to a lovely cute boy called Arthur. For their engagement shoot we agreed on a wonderful location on the rocky coast near Hendaye in the Basque country. Their strong connection and the naughty jokes of Alex made for both an intimate and energetic shoot that is making me willing to share that great moment with you all!
